Mari – AdministratorKeymaster
Thank you Sara… I will call them tomorrow and try to talk to the Pastor!
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterOh shucks….I will send it back to you in the morning Sharleen!!!
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterCut away love…you are saved by the blood of Christ…not your hair……or what you do….
🙂
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterWow Sharleen…..this is good…and difficult. Â I pray you may be able to open the Baptist Minister’s eyes to rightly dividing!
My hand is better today…everything feels better.
You know…I wonder if it is an attack because there is a church starting in my home…hopefully the first Sunday of June…. Â Getting everything together has been an ordeal in some ways…and a real pleasure in others!!
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterThanks Pam….I do not believe we need to cover our heat either…it is not sin.
Best practices? Â I do not think so….we have liberty under the grace of God…through Christ!
Muslim women have to wear head coverings….and in fact cover everything but their eyes…and some places even their eyes and hands must be covered. Â The Muslim men enforce this…and can cause a woman her life to ignore this command.
Okay….I am reading Sharleen’s study right now….
I am having one problem after another.  The last few days it hurts to move my left hand…it is swollen and painful.  My rancher friend stopped by to get a part I had picked up for him in town on Monday…and asked me if I have been in a fight.  sheesh  I have no idea what happened to it….now it is hurting in my wrist, elbow and shoulder….
Finding many things to be thankful for though…and you all here chatting and working this head covering out is one of them! Â I love you all!!
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterSounds great! Â I look forward to reading it Sharleen!
I love these kinds of discussions…and yes…TNT…because of the angels….how interesting is this!!?
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterAn example of what?
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterI agree….we do have ROLES as women! Â We are under headship…just as the man…just as Christ!
However…we are not bound under laws and ordinances.
Does anyone here believe it is a sin not to have your head covered when you go for fellowship at a grace church?
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterNot to be overly concerned about the outward appearance as long as we are modestly covered et al…it is what is on the INSIDE that is important….  🙂
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterMy point is that it is not a sin or against the law to braid our hair…or to wear gold or pearls…. So…Paul is telling us something….what do you think it is?
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterHi Pam…
So…I guess the bottom line question is…are we under a law? Â ARE women required to cover their head or wear long hair…or what? Â What happens if we do not? Â Is it a sin?
Ordinance means law… We are no longer under the law…they were nailed to the cross.
It might be nice if you would email and ask Justin further…if you think he is dimissing Scripture.  It would either help us….or it might help Justin!  🙂
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterHair length is really not an issue under Grace…..
Mari – AdministratorKeymasterYes…anyone who wants to understand this listen here….then if you have time discuss what you understand about this verse here!  🙂
This is a part 28 of a Tuesday night verse by verse study through 1 Corinthians titled Matters of Proper Order.
Not only do people mistake the ordinances for the Catholic sacraments, but they skip over the important mystery truth of headship involving husbands and wives.
Paul continues to talk about the disorder that was resident in the church in Corinth that began with family disorder. Paul deals specifically with head coverings and the order for man and woman.

Mari – AdministratorKeymasterSorry I did  not see this Sharleen….forgive me!
This is not for us today….We are under grace. Â Not a head covering…not an ordinance. Â Christ nailed them to the cross!
Col 2:14 Â Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
I hope we are not too late….I injured my cornea…and have been in terrible pain. Â Today I can be on the computer and the light does not pierce my brain. Â It is healing!! Â More later….
