      GRACE AMBASSADORS
      MINISTRY UPDATE

      April 10th, 2021

      Learning from Prophecy

In Isaiah 45:23 the LORD (Jehovah) says, “That unto me every knee shall bow.”

In Philippians 2:10 says, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow.”

The “me” of Isaiah is the “Jesus” of Philippians. This quotation of Isaiah by Paul teaches many lessons.

First, Jesus is the same Jehovah (LORD) of the Old Testament!

Second, Jesus is God. The “me” in Isaiah 45:23 is the God of Isaiah 45:22. Jehovah is God.

Third, the first-person pronouns of Isaiah 45:23 mean that these are words spoken by Jesus. Jesus is the one who says, “Look unto me, and be ye saved” in Isaiah 45:22.

Fourth, the person of Jesus existed before Paul, before Mary, before the incarnation. He was speaking in Isaiah!

Fifth, Jesus said the scriptures “testify of me” (John 5:39), because in Isaiah 45 Jesus gave his own testimony.

“…for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” – Revelation 19:10

      For Truth,
