“Which is it?”

On the subject of circumcision, the Bible says this:

“And the uncircumcised man child … shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.“ – Genesis 17:14

The Bible also says this:

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision…” – Galatians 5:6

So… which is it? It cannot be both.

It is not enough to be Biblical, you must also be dispensational; you must know which instructions are directed at the church today, and which are not. So… which is it?

Many people think the whole Bible says the same thing throughout, “There are no differences!”

Show them a difference. Then ask, “Which is it?” Your follow up question will be, “Why?”

When the reason to rightly divide comes from their own mouth, it can be easier to understand.

We must all decide which parts of the Bible to adhere to and which to separate as for another time, place, or person. It is important to get this dispensational discernment right.
