God Humbled Himself

Paul teaches Christian humility in Philippians 2.

“Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.” – Phil 2:4

Though the LORD is high above all nations and His glory above the heavens, pure and righteous, God is the ultimate example of humility.

God the Father humbled himself to behold men(Psa 8:4; 113:6).

God the Son humbled himself to become a man(Phil 2:6-7).

God the Spirit humbled himself to be in men(1 Cor 6:19; Eph 4:30)

By His grace God humbled himself to save those who were not, and now the life of a saved Christian concerns humbling ourselves for the spiritual benefit of others.
