Welcome to SWORDS! Strong Women of Rightly Dividing Studies (Based on 2Timothy 2:15 and Proverbs 27:17)

We have a few rules for posting here.

1. Our bible orientation is “Pauline”and our posts and the posts of visitors on bible subjects should be compared with the Word of God in compliance with Paul’s command in “2 Tim. 2:15- Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

2. Our goal is to give glory to the Lord, to have a place of fellowship with other women of the Body of Christ, to encourage and help equip each other for the mission the Lord has given us today. We also welcome those who are wanting to know God. We believe in taking the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24) to a lost world and to ‘make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:’ (Eph 3:9)

3. Plain speech is honored here, rude or foul speech is not. We must always remember the grace that has been given to us, and to extend that same grace to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Proverbs 18:24

4. This site will not allow the promotion of aberrant beliefs or religions. There is a place for Questions and Answers to discuss subjects. We will also defend the faith once given, but not laboriously or contentiously. If it becomes contentious there will be one warning given and after that we will ask you to find another forum where such argumentative or ungracious posts are desired, or allowed.
